Bark in the Park

Get ready to wag those tails! The Outer Banks SPCA is thrilled to announce the 5th Annual Bark in the Park, returning to Dowdy Park in Nags Head on Saturday, May 16th, from 10 AM to 1 PM. This milestone year promises fun for families, animal lovers and, of course, all the four-legged friends! All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the animals at the Outer Banks SPCA by supporting our mission to provide care and find forever homes for all local animals in need. We can’t wait to see you there! ● Competitions: Think you have the best bark? Our signature human barking competition, The Great American Bark-Off, is back and open to all ages! Does your dog have a cool trick, or do you and your pup look-alike? Enter into our dog competitions!● Live music by Anchor Blazer● Vendors: Need to cool down from all the fun? Island Snowball is the place to be! Hungry after all those activities? Hot Don’s hot dogs got you covered!● Activities: Puparrazzi photos, pup cups, paw print art, and more!
